Autumn Self-Care Challenge

I love Autumn.

I’m a Fall baby so it is my favorite time of the year. The leaves will be changing. The weather will get cooler and best of all it will soon be Halloween. Since we are closing out the month of August, this is the perfect time with the beginning of a new month to start a regimen of self-care.

Whether it is the current political climate that has you vexed, a toxic relationship or stress on the job now is the perfect time for a little self-care. I have found that if I don’t take care of myself, I’m no good to anyone.

So I want to propose a little challenge. This one is not only for you, but I will be doing it right along with you.

I’ve pulled together a little calendar with some activities that are sure to help you de-stress and make you feel better about life.

You don’t have to follow my list, you can come up with some things on your own. You can go feed the ducks at a local pond or go to a wine tasting. Try a museum or just sit and watch the rain (I love doing that by the way). Go out for ice cream or wear your favorite outfit. Whatever you do make sure that it is all about you.
